GDPR

Coeo has always taken privacy very seriously and we have worked hard to ensure we meet GDPR obligations and maintain our transparency around how we use data.

‍Measurestaken by Coeo

  • Updated our documents on privacy policy
  • Has created a Data Processing Addendum (DPA) which can be made available on request to support@coeo.events.
  • Added product features to make it easier for our organizers and their participants to comply with the GDPR (see list below).
  • Ensured that all our subcontractors are GDPR compliant and have signed data processing annexes with all of them.
  • Updated the data security procedures for all staff.

New features added to make GDPR compliance easier

  • Participants can export all their data linked to a specific organizer.
  • Participants can request to have their data linked to a specific event or organizer removed. The organizer will then have 30 days before the participant data is automatically removed.
  • Organizers can enable automatic deletion of all participant data 30 days after the end date of an event.
  • Organizers can export all data linked to their Coeo account.
  • Organizers can request the deletion of all their Coeo account data together with all their participant data.
  • Require all participants to agree to the terms of use, which includes agreeing to the privacy policy.
  • Updated how we store terms and privacy policy consent from participants.

Organizers can now add their own terms and conditions in addition to the general terms and conditions provided by Coeo.
