Popular features

Live chat

Each broadcast is accompanied by an open chat where everyone can write and read. It is often used to discuss the content, ask questions or simply show appreciation to the speakers with encouraging emojis. To create structure and engagement, it can be valuable to have a dedicated 'chat host' to drive the discussion and encourage questions. Sometimes a lecture is pre-recorded - in this case, the speaker can instead be active in the chat during the playback and answer questions in real time.

Ask a question to the moderator/speaker

To make Q&A easy and structured, participants can send their questions directly to the moderator. It works like a digital show of hands, where only selected people see these questions, making it possible to highlight the most relevant ones during the live broadcast. Questions that cannot be answered during the broadcast can be answered afterwards in the chat or forum, thus prolonging the dialog and allowing for answers even in the most time-pressured parts of the program. Physical participants can easily ask questions via app or QR code.

Votes

If you've used Mentimeter, you'll recognize the set-up - Coeo has a built-in version for votes and polls. A moderator controls when the question is shown and participants can respond directly in real time. The results are presented as clear bar charts, either live on air or on a screen on stage.

Create fun quizzes that engage participants! The results are automatically compiled in a scoreboard with a Top-10 list. Winners can be rewarded with prizes.

Flexible buttons and integrations

For each program item, you can link smart buttons that appear during the live broadcast. This makes it easy to create extra interactivity - for example, directing participants to sponsors, linking to different Zoom rooms or starting a photo competition via an external form.

Networking between participants

Most conferences and events choose to publish a list of participants. Each participant can create a personal profile and easily network with others. Exchanging digital business cards gives access to each other's contact details and allows you to continue the dialog via personal chats directly in the platform.

‍Mingleand conversation room

Want to create even more dialog between participants? Then there is the talk and mingle room feature. They can be used in several different ways - for example, as breakouts with random distribution, pre-set groups or open rooms during set times. For best effect, we recommend that the discussion rooms are planned as part of the program.
